CCA Condition Report

Overall: 95 / 135

Exterior

Bodywork: Glass:
Paint: Chrome:
Trim:

Remarks

Engine bay has been totally renovated - bay all repainted and all rust issues dealt with at time of engine removal and refresh. Exterior paint good with no damage but would benefit from repaint to regain concours standard. Wheels also would benefit a refurb but are complete with centres and locks. All panels and gaps correct and damage free.

Interior

Door-cards: Carpets:
Seating: Headlining:
Dashboard: Boot:

Remarks

Very smart interior with the standard cloth Recaro interior - seats bolsters very good for age and are still very supporting. Rear seats again all good with minimal wear. Dashboard fantastic and has the slightest of two cracks but super for the age and always kept covered from sunlight. Dash - controls and all trim working fine - correct steering wheel. Carpets all good.

Engine

Components: Starting:
Appearance: Running:

Remarks

Engine has been removed dec 2015 for a refresh and replacement of any required parts. All rebuilt and run in correctly with only quality parts used. Reasonable amount of modifications - all uprated parts inc new roller bearing turbo. New Alloy inter cooler and rad set up with all new hoses throughout. Many original items still maintained - tanks/brackets/fixtures. Professional set up to 340bhp @ renowned AET turbos - normington. Powerful yet reliable engine while retaining period features.

Transmission

Gears: Drive-shaft:
Clutch:

Remarks

Very good T5 gearbox - dec 2015 was removed and now has an uprated paddle clutch so will take the power/torque but also comes with a hydraulic clutch set up to provide a user friendly touch for use in traffic. Can be noisy and harsh if not used to driving with one but operates 100%.

Running Gear

Axles: Chassis:
Suspension: Bearings:
Brakes: Wheels/Tyres:

Remarks

Suspension components - brakes and rear differential all working fine and have been uprated in the past for newer items. They operate fine but by today's standards they would benefit from some new items.

Electrics

Minor: Major:

Remarks

Complete engine bay Motorsport wiring loom was fitted dec 2015 to remove all aged electrics and remove any old connections that perish over the years giving peace of mind. Interior elecs all work - controls all work - elec windows, mirrors, c/locking

Vehicle History

Remarks

Has lots of supporting history - many reciepts to show items replaced over the years and has previous mots to verify the milage as much as possible. Prior to my ownership The car was stored in the previous owners unit for around 8 years and I can verify that so suspect the milage to be true. Overall condition in my opinion is very good indeed and is an un restored car that can be used or improved on over time - especially with rising values pricing many out of most peoples reach. Car was classed as cat repaired in 2009 when values were a lot lower by today's prices - can't see any signs of repair either.
