SUMMARY

An immaculate veteran light commercial Bean Van, presented in beautiful condition and ready to enjoy.

DESCRIPTION

• A.Harper, Sons & Bean Ltd. were motor car manufacturers in Dudley building light touring cars and commercial vehicles. These stylish, right-hand drive vehicles were built to last
• Originally built as an 11.9 HP tourer, powered by the Willys-Overland 4-cylinder 1,796cc engine, this example was converted to a light commercial van post-war
• It previously formed part of the Bredgar & Wheeldon Light Railway display, where it was restored to its current green livery with black wings. The body is of wooden construction, with a black vinyl-covered bench seat to the front and barn doors to the rear - coach painted ‘BWLR Express Parcel Service’
• Engine and gearbox were rebuilt in 2021 by Veteran specialists Classic Motivations, Kent - the Bean now runs and drives beautifully
• Offered for sale by a prominent Veteran Car Club of GB member, accompanied by a good history file and V5C.
