1934 Singer Nine Le Mans

Lot: 477

Sold for (£): 18,920
Offered for sale is a 0.950L 1934 Singer Le Mans manual that has been with the current owner for the last 23 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 73 / 135.

Classic Car Auctions says:

Capitalising on the success of their Nine Sport at the famous French race track in 1933, Singer started to produce the lowered, lightened and tuned Nine Le Mans the following year. With a 950 cc single overhead camshaft engine, twin carbs, rear-wheel drive, and a 4-speed gearbox with synchro on third and top, the diminutive Le Mans had a reputation as a great driver's car.
Purchased by the current custodian soon after a full restoration in 1993, TVB 685 has been cosseted and used only on fine days, MOT'd every year until the law change in 2012 and kept in good running order.
