Offered for sale is a 1.8L 1948 Jaguar Mk IV 1 1/2 Litre manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 102/135. Venerable post-war 'Sports Saloon' cherished by one man for 70 years...

 

A post-war return to production of the late-thirties SS Cars Ltd. 'Sports Saloons'

Powered by a 1776cc overhead-valve unit from Standardwho also supplied the four-speed gearbox

Acquired by our vendor's father in 1949 from its first owner and then began a sheltered life

Dry stored for over 50 years prior to commencing a thorough restoration in 2004

All necessary mechanical items, woodwork, carpets & paintwork were restored/replaced as needed

The well worn interior leather was retained from choice but might benefit from being renewed

As true an example as you will find, there is a huge file of history to support this rare offering

Vehicles can be collected from The Wing on Monday 2nd August between 9am and 3pm.

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on

01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
