  • Repatriated in 1988, this 1950s Lagonda appears to have previously been UK-registered as HAK 752 and is partially restored including chassis and mechanicals
  • A landmark motorcar in period with elegant coachwork by Tickford featuring rear-hinged doors and a sophisticated, well finished interior
  • Rarely seen on the market nowadays with few Drophead Coupès manufactured, fully restored examples change hands for upwards of £70,000
  • Its history file includes import documents with previous US Title, HM Customs & Excise paperwork showing no charges due and various other documents

Unregistered with import documentation from HMRC 1988 showing no taxes due, previous US title and various other paperwork Further details provided with many thank to the Lagonda Club • Delivered on 5th May 1951 to the dealer C Sidney of Bradford • Records suggest that the original colour was Satin bronze with beige trim • The original 2.6 Litre engine may have been upgraded to a 3.0 Litre unit around 1962 - TBC • First registered on 25th May 1951 with the registration number HAK 752 to a N Fitzroy, Agent at Harewood Estate • Records then indicate Mr J Wood of Baildon Yorkshire took ownership from August 1968. There are no records to confirm that Mr Wood was the 2nd owner or that the car changed hands in between • The Drop-head Coupe then moved to the US (Noblesville Indiana) in 1974. The Lagonda Club then lose track of the car after that
