1959 Austin Healey MK1 Frogeye Sprite

An eye-catching, restored 1959 Austin Healey Sprite finished in Primrose yellow...This fabulous, original right-hand drive car, has been gently restored over a number of years and looks absolutely spot-on. Painted Iris Blue when new, it appears to have been fully stripped, the panels well prepared, and then professionally painted in a Spring-fresh, shade of Yellow. It's fitted with a later, more powerful 1098cc engine running on twin SUs and sparked by electronic ignition fitted neatly in the original distributor, all under its steel bonnet. The brakes have been changed to discs on the front to cope with the extra power. The interior is attractive and the dashboard has recently been recovered and the seat covers replaced. This little 'Frog-eye' is pure early sixties, with its Minilites, Speedwell mirrors, wood rim steering wheel and boot-mounted luggage rack.
