DESCRIPTION
A lovely Brighton built BMW Isetta 300 with just three former owners. A true 1950's classic.
This ""Bubble Car"" was first registered in the UK 12/10/1959, recent work we are told included some minor tidying, a full mechanical overhaul including a new clutch fitted.
As a 1959 vehicle this left hand drive Isetta is exempt from the requirement for an MoT, the vendor informs us that the car has been thoroughly serviced and checked through by our local classic car specialist.
Driving a ""Bubble Car"" as anyone who has driven one will know, is quite an experience! The willing 300CC motocycle engine coupled to a relatively close ratio gearbox allows reasonably rapid progress in traffic, accompanied by plenty of smilers and is the saught after pre cat model with no sunroof and no power steering. Has been regularly started and warmed up but usually between 50-100 miles per year for last 15-20 years. It is a limited edition in laser green with black dashboard and ds and waves from passers-by.ark green carpets with half leather limited edition seats. Has stainless steel exhaust. I had a 205 gti as my first car and wished I never sold it so looked for the perfect one in 1991 and found it in this car
