SUMMARY
Pretty little Frogeye benefitting from a sympathetic restoration by renowned specialists.
DESCRIPTION
- Designed by the Donald Healey Motor Company and built by BMC at the MG factory in Abingdon, the Sprite was launched in Monte Carlo immediately prior to the 1958 Monaco Grand Prix
- The unique, one-piece bonnet covered a mildly tuned, 43bhp 948cc version of the BMC's ubiquitous little A-Series engine
- Suspension featured coil springs and wishbones up front, quarter elliptic springs to the rear and lever arm dampers all round
- This example was first registered on 22/03/1961 as YET 124, finished in Cherry Red
- Recent full glass-out respray in its original colour as part of a sympathetic restoration
- New wiring loom, refurbished prop shaft, steering rack and radiator
- This is a really good example of how a Frogeye should look when it's restored correctly
