Classic Car Auctions says:

58 years with its only owner and for sale for the first time...

  • This venerable early Mini Cooper was first registered on 16/01/1962 to its one and only owner
  • Originally finished in Almond Green with an Old English White Roof and now presented in red
  • In need of a total restoration. Potential buyers should satisfy themselves as to the extent of the work required
  • Original 997 replaced with a short-stroke 850cc at some point. We understand it runs well
  • Interior needs restoration although the original Dove Grey/Porcelain Green vinyl may well cleanable
  • Around 300,000 miles. The original registration number 150 FOC will remain with the car
  • Still in regular use, "goes like the clappers" and will be driven to the auction
  • Only one owner and a valuable registration, this could well be a worthwhile restoration project
