Classic Car Auctions says:

One for all you Simon Templar lovers.

This iconic, very desirable Swedish Coupé has shared the life of its current vendor for the last 49 years and has been in storage since 2001. It has now been taken from hibernation and re-commissioned in readiness for the Auction. The original owner was a surgeon, hence the 999, and worked at Kings Cross Hospital hence the KX. Today the car does require a little bodywork and a fresh coat of paint but is a great base to work from. In the cabin, the leather would benefit from a bit of treatment and a little tidying but is basically good for a 51-year-old car.
It comes with a full Volvo Workshop Manual, an owners manual and some service history. Despite the passage of time, these cars will always be associated with 'The Saint' and still find willing buyers from the time of 'Black and White' television.
