Classic Car Auctions says:

A rare sixties American muscle car....
When did you last see one of these? With all references to its Rambler roots removed, the 1966 first generation Marlin became known as an 'AMC' to distance it from its humble beginnings. The distinctive, fastback, pillarless coupé's looks were well received and the car sold well, particularly the 287.

This two-tone AMC Marlin '287' has been with its current owner ,who is a die hard American fan, for the last 33 years and has patently been molly coddled during this time. The only major work done to the car during his ownership is a full refit of the interior with new seat coverings making it really sharp, and overall the car presents extremely well and belies its 52 years. If you like sixties' Americana and fancy something a bit different, then this well-preserved Marlin could be the answer.
