The 'Holy Grail', an original Camaro SS direct from Mike Brewer...

  • Responding to a challenge, Mike managed to find this one owner, manual gearbox car in Seattle
  • Now completely rebuilt and refinished as close to possible to its original Le Mans Blue
  • The 396ci, L78, V8 has been stripped, rebuilt and upgraded and now produces a little over 410bhp
  • Correctly restored internally with new carpets and headlining. Optional Rally Sport headlamp covers
  • In excess of £40,000, this is an accurate and sympathetic restoration of a legendary muscle car
  • This rare car is sensibly guided considering it's probably the best example this side of the pond

Vehicle History

Appearing at a 'muscle car' event in California, Mike Brewer was approached by the president of the Camaro Club who was sure that he wouldn’t be able to find an original SS for sale. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Mike set to work and within 12 hours had secured this one-owner example in Seattle. "He said it would be impossible, so I had to prove him wrong. This one was perfect, and came with the desirable 396ci engine and four-speed manual transmission. I only paid $8,500 for it – just over £5,000 at the time."
