Vehicle History

Remarks

Unbelievable. Unique? One lady owner to 1990. (Miss S G Heather-Dore, the daughter of Henry Hancock Dore silversmith and jeweller- maker of the Victoria Cross). The vendor purchased from her estate in 1991. Unusual in having history older than itself as included are letters from the original owner requesting an agent to purchase a TA 14 for her from Brooklands of Bond Street and requesting the running Chieftain Indian mascot to be fitted and paid for in addition. Registered 17.11.1948. All letters plus her handwritten notes at the time, service histories, documents, sherry corks, umbrella, gloves, supplying dealer keyring, first aid kit and more paperwork and history you can read in a week. The vendor knows this car and its history inside out and will be pleased to ensure the new custodian is fully aware. This vehicle was used by the vendor on his wedding day and by both his daughters since.
