Remarks

The engine is now a 2-litre Vauxhall Red top twin-cam built by Richard Winter the MD of Banks. It's attached to a 5-speed F20 gearbox installed in the Banks chassis in a transverse configuration. fuel injected through Jenvey throttle bodies and Pipercross filtration. Automatic auxiliary electric fan with manual override fitted and an electric water pump. Stainless steel exhaust.

I believe the engine was giving out over 250 bhp at the wheels. (I have not seen the test results but rest assured that it is extremely fast and I have seen a genuine 140 mph based on the GPS speedo.) The engine redlines at 9000 rpm.
