1974 Range Rover

Sold for (£): 4,840

Classic Car Auctions says:

A three-door Range Rover for restoration...
Offered at No Reserve this true survivor represents a potentially great base to begin a decent renovation. Early Range Rovers have a good following these days, and when properly restored, can command some high values. The engine runs sweetly, in spite of not being on the road for many years, and the gearbox also benefits from a Fairey overdrive unit which in itself is a rare find. There are some old MoTs and a few invoices with the car.

As with many projects, this was purchased with a re-build in mind which somehow never happened, and so the car is now available for someone with the skills and enthusiasm to return this early Range Rover to the road and reap, what could well be, a substantial reward.
