SUMMARY

An exceptional example of a rare model that has patently been very well looked after all its days.

DESCRIPTION

  • To mark the 50th Anniversary of MG Cars in 1974, British Leyland announced the production of a limited-edition of 750 MG B GT Jubilee models
  • Distinguished by British Racing Green paintwork with gold stripes incorporating the Jubilee logo. Other badges on the car were gold rather than silver, and the alloy wheels had gold detailing
  • Features included an overdrive gearbox, carpets instead of rubber mats, black cloth seats with headrests, a V8-style steering wheel and tinted glass
  • This is car Number #264 and it has covered just 74,981 miles in the hands of our vendor and two former registered keepers
  • Purchased new in 1975 by a collector who purchased two Jubilees, one to use and the other to mothball. Subsequently sold to its second owner in 1979 who loved and cared for it for 44 years. Maintained mainly by just two garages and every invoice and receipt is chronologically recorded in the history file
  • Always garaged, cleaned, polished and covered. Excellent bodywork and paintwork, very few marks. Beautiful brightwork, really clear and clean glass. Alloy wheels are very clean
  • Incredibly still has its yellow crayon markings on the inner front wing and under the bonnet from the production line in 1975
