Classic Car Auctions says:

A rare survivor of Vauxhalls brave design direction in the 70s...

  • Officially it was the 'High Performance (HP) Firenza' but always referred to as the 'Droopsnoot'
  • Fitted with the Bill Blydenstein-developed, 131bhp Slant Four engine and 5-Speed ZF Dog-leg gearbox
  • The engine sported twin Strombergs, a high lift cam and performance exhaust manifold
  • This cracking example is predominantly unrestored. Routine maintenance has kept it looking good
  • Supplied with all its old MOTs whilst on the road and lots of old tax discs
