SUMMARY

Superbly restored Type 2 finished in an amazing palette of colours.

DESCRIPTION

  • Imported from a US dry state and converted to right-hand drive
  • Subject to a £30,000 bare-metal restoration by Morecambe and Wize in Blackpool 5 years ago
  • Originally designed for the artist Rafaele Appleby to reflect the use of colour in her work  http://www.rafaeleappleby.co.uk/
  • Replacement 1534cc engine sits in a very tidy engine bay
  • The bespoke multi-coloured interior has been very well executed
  • Lovely quality throughout but we suspect the unique presentation may bring in the 'Marmite' factor
  • Guided at half the cost of its restoration, this seems tremendous value. Your kids would love it.
