1977 BMW 633 CSI

Lot: 133

Sold for (£): Unsold
Offered for sale is a 3.3L 1977 BMW 633 CSI automatic that has been with the current owner for the last year. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores 92 / 135.

Classic Car Auctions says:

A rare, 1977 UK supplied, manual BMW 633 CSI. This classic 38-year-old BMW has the Karman M-Sport body kit fitted, original engine and factory fitted sunroof.

The vendor informs us that he has spent in the region of £4,500 this year on the car on various suspension components, new brakes, some electrical glitches, new tyres and a new MoT certificate that expires in August, 2016. We are told the engine was previously rebuilt at 95,000 miles at Bridgegate BMW in Derby where they have records of all their input into this lovely old 'Beemer' with copies in the car's comprehensive history file.

The 633 was imported in far smaller numbers than its bigger brother the 635, however, those in the know will tell you that they were a delight to drive, slightly better balanced, and probably a bit quicker across country than the succeeding 3.5 litre.
