DESCRIPTION
Even those VW Campervans that need lots of work appear to be selling at a premium which makes this lovely example, having recently benefitted from six thousand pounds worth of work, a very sensible choice. The work was extensive and included attention to the body, chassis, outriggers, floor pans and a full engine rebuild and upgrade to 1641cc with Webers and an Empi 4 into 1 exhaust.Internally it has the original Berlin LHD spec trim, which in itself is rare, and the accommodation includes a rock and roll bed with cooker, fridge and running water and a good selection of well-finished cupboards. It also benefits from a 12v to 24v voltage converter. There is a full photographic file detailing a lot of the recent improvements and that will accompany the van. A few minor ""niggles"" are detailed below and are easily sorted and so, in our opinion, this sound, cared for iconic Campervan only really needs a coat of paint to turn it into something special.
