A very rare Series 1 that was treated, in period, to a body kit developed by TWR.

 

 

DESCRIPTION

  • Launched in 1978, the all-new RX-7 featured fresh liftback styling with pop-up headlamps, neatly integrated bumpers and excellent proportions, while the well-equipped cabin boasted full instrumentation, a wide centre console and 2+2 seating
  • Powered by 2.3-litre ‘12A’ Wankel rotary engine, delivering around 101bhp to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission
  • This is an original, UK-supplied, first-generation (SA22C) car that's been enhanced by various additions from the TWR parts catalogue
  • TWR supplied and fitted body-kit parts to the RX7s and were an authorised installer of the Elford turbo engine conversion
  • Finished in Metallic Black, GHV 521W features Series 1 spoilers, a TWR steering wheel and Gold 13" TWR alloys
  • This particular car appeared briefly on TV in an episode of Between the Lines (Ep 3.03)

Vehicles can be collected from the Warwickshire Event Centre, CV31 1XN on Sunday 18th June between 10am and 3pm and Monday 19th June between 9am and 1pm.

Due to venue restrictions we need to be clear of the WEC by 1pm on Monday 19th therefore any motor vehicles not collected by this time will be taken to our transport partners storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day.
