DESCRIPTION
In 1978 Porsche introduced their latest version of the widely acclaimed 911. Called the '911SC' it featured a 3.0-litre six cylinder engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a 5-speed 915 transmission. Originally, power output was 180bhp, later increased to188bhp and finally in 1981, 204bhp.
Offered here is a 911 SC Targa from a deceased estate. It began life as a left-hand drive car and at some point has been converted to right-hand drive, although it is unknown when this took many club events over the years, many rosettes and commendations.place or by whom. The car was purchased by its second owner in 1986, who was to go on to keep the car until recently. The bodywork and paint is showing signs of corrosion and blistering and will need some attention, as will the interior, which we would recommend a fully re-trimming.
This 911 SC Targa is the prime candidate for a full restoration and offers entry level Porsche ownership at an attractive guide price.
