SUMMARY

Recently recommissioned with much attention to detail, this 1985 second-generation car has the more powerful pre-1986, hemi-head, 1.6-litre CVH engine.

DESCRIPTION

  • A super example of the second-generation XR2 looking absolutely gorgeous in black with a grey cloth interior
  • Pre-1986 cars featured a hemi-head CVH 1.6-litre engine using a Weber 32/34 DFT carb offering 96bhp with 0-60 in 8.7 seconds and 112mph
  • It's had a complete body refurbishment to a great standard by our Fast Ford collector
  • Great attention to detail was paid with the complete underside stripped, all new bushes and Gaz suspension fitted along with a new fuel tank and new brakes
  • The super rare and original steel wheels with trims were powder-coated and new tyres fitted
  • Recent fresh MOT with 'No Advisories' giving great peace of mind to any potential buyer
  • Guided very sensibly, this XR2 is a great entry-level Performance Ford and, with a small amount of TLC to the interior, would make a great all-rounder
