SUMMARY
Classic mid-1980s Airstream 325 that featured in Ron Howard's dramatic 2013 motor racing movie Rush.
DESCRIPTION
- Back in the mid-1980s, the Airstream 325 was the essence of the American Road Trip dream and this 32½ft-long Aluminium RV continues to command attention and draw admiring glances
-
This Classic 325 dates from 1986 and has covered 79,951 miles from new. It was first registered in the UK on 31/08/2007 and has been with its current owner for 11 years
-
Powered by Chevrolet 7.4 litre V8 engine and benefits from an LPG conversion (should be tested/checked before use)
-
Much has been spent in recent years at main UK-based RV dealers, including a major renovation/overhaul at LAS Motorhomes. The work included completely new brakes front to rear, new roof air conditioner; new batteries on the house side and the chassis fully serviced and checked throughout plus much more
-
The interior is very original and exceptionally clean and could be left 'as is' or fully refurbed to suit the new owner's taste
- Interestingly, this particular vehicle was used on the set of Ron Howard's dramatic 2013 motor racing movie 'Rush' and features in several scenes in the film as Niki Lauda's motorhome
- The personalised registration number RV 9208 matches the Airstream (WBCCI) membership club 'big red numbers'. Does not form part of the sale but is available by separate negotiation
- The current MOT Certificate is valid until October 2023
