Classic Car Auctions says:

A very special 'Sharknose'...
This two owner from new, iconic 'M' car comes to market with an excellent history file, the majority of which are service invoices from Murketts BMW where it also had its timing chain and guides replaced. The service book clearly shows all the stamps right up to 113,000 miles, and there are receipts for subsequent services. The car was originally registered to BMW GB on the 24th of March 1987, and after 12 months was sold to its first keeper where it remained until recently. Interestingly, during the late eighties, the car could occasionally be spotted on 'Howards Way', a much-watched drama about boat builders.
The interior is in a 'time warp, condition with the sports seats holding you reassuringly in place and a true 80's feel to the cockpit, and the car sits on recently refurbished alloys wearing the correct specification TRX tyres.
Finished in Cosmos Blau with a complementing blue interior, this M635CSi has clearly been fastidiously maintained and represents an ideal opportunity to get into an appreciating classic at an attractive guide. These 286 bhp coupés were very quick cars in period (still impressive now), handled superbly and looked great. Not to be missed.
