SUMMARY

Very few of these turbocharged 800s remain on the road however this handsome Nightfire Red example appears to be in rude health and is on offer at No Reserve.

DESCRIPTION

  • Introduced on 19 April 1994, the R17-generation Rover 800 Vitesse Sport was a joint project between Honda and Rover and the two had already teamed up on the Acclaim/Prelude, which served as a proof of concept in terms of a partnership
  • The new car featured a 200bhp version of the turbocharged 2.0-Litre T-Series engine together with an uprated PG1 gearbox with a Torque Sensing (TorSen) differential
  • These engineering enhancements resulted in a sharper sporting edge with 0-60 in 7.1 seconds and 143mph
  • First registered in January 1995, this 800 Vitesse has had just four former owners and covered less than 87,000 miles
  • Boldly presented in Nightfire Red, it's fitted with a sunroof and sits on the correct 17" six-spoke alloys
  • A full Recaro Granite Grey leather interior was specified and it remains in excellent condition
  • Supplied with its original book pack, a couple of invoices, previous MOTs and a current MOT
