comprehensive file detailing 757 BOJ was first registered on the 18th May 1960 and spent much of its early life in the Greater London area, based in Eltham, SE9 and later Bushey in Hertfordshire. By 1976 the 'Frogeye' was registered in the North West where it has spent the majority of the past 40 years, moving between Lancaster, Carnforth and the Lake District. Grundy Mac initially brought the 'Frogeye' in through part exchange they sold the car immediately to one their regular customers in South Yorkshire and carried out a high level of preparation work to include new track rod ends, new radius arms, rebuilt brake calipers, new rear wheel cylinders, rebuilt rev counter and replacement ammeter, top hose, ignition switch and choke cable. Over the summer months the car has been used for a regular commuting to work and has proven to be completely reliable. Over the past eight years the Austin Healey has only covered 4000 miles but having being fully prepared by Classic and Sportscar centre’s workshop, the car is ready to use and enjoy, capable of regular use. 757 BOJ cruises comfortably on the motorway and is equipped with a 1275cc engine and feels quick and responsive. The car is a real user and is brilliant fun to drive. The car has lots of power, acceleration is impressive and brakes and handling are excellent. With the recent brake and suspension work, the 'Frogeye' is ready to drive and enjoy with confidence and its regular recent use should give confidence.
