Remarks

At 22 years old and with just 69,388 miles indicated the car is in exceptional condition for its age. The boot lid tool kit is complete and the interior first aid kit is original and sealed. The paintwork shows some slight age related marks and swirl marks. And there is a very slight mark on the boot lid. I am reliably informed that this is due to Mr Rossi's wife operating both an electric garage door mechanism and the boot opening fob switch at the same time in order to retrieve golf clubs from the boot of the car. Hence I have never sought to rectify this minor blemish.

Remarks

The car is a sumptuous and and the interior is generally excellent. Here, the only outstanding restoration work is that of repairing the driver's heated seat and a small blemish mark on the rear seat. The costly and rare interior quarter blinds are present and working (at a cost of £170 plus vat per side), as is the electric rear blind. Electric seat functions all working with the sole exception of the driver's seat heating.

Vehicle History

Remarks

As a long time BMW devotee, especially of the sumptuous 7 series, this powerful and luxurious car was acquired new by Mr Rossi of Status Quo on 28.10.1995 and appears to have been his favourite car of all time. In this interview with the Financial Times in 2008 Mr Rossi references a BMW he has owned for thirteen years, and gives a handy mileage provenance check in doing so. https://www.ft.com/content/62e75c34-b7f2-11dd-ac6d-0000779fd18c

I am a longterm BMW car club member and during my ownership I have spent over £11,500 on mechanical and trim restoration and replacements. All genuine BMW parts and prioritised according to safety and MOT requirements and then onto stock levels held by the BMW group. Additionally, an estimated £1,500 has also been spent on sourcing reclaimed trim parts, tool kit items and such like via various internet auction sites and specialist BMW reclamation companies to ensure a healthy stock of parts for continued restoration.

Some previous history from first owner, full and detailed history file from my ownership. All handbooks for the standard equipment operation and many additional extras are included in the original leather wallet. Which is very full. Two customer information packs for this model are also included as is the history file. Plus 3 sets of keys with fobs from the original supplying sealer, Cronk of Chipstead.
