SUMMARY

A truly 'time-warp' Capri emerging from almost 25 years in hiding.

DESCRIPTION

  • Introduced in November 1984, the special edition Capri Laser featured a six-gauge dashboard, tinted glass, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, leather-trimmed gear lever/steering wheel, body-coloured grille/door mirrors, RS alloys, unique graphics, black-painted bumpers and Truro cloth upholstery
  • This 100bhp, 5-speed, 2-litre example is finished in Paris Blue with a Grey Laser interior
  • When our vendor decided to buy the most original Capri he could find for his Collection, this was his choice four years ago
  • It had been with its previous owner for 33 years and carefully stored for the last 25 of those
  • Thoroughly recommissioned four years ago and recently refreshed. MOT valid until August 2023
  • Accompanied by its original service book, the first six MOTs (pre-storage) and recent invoices
  • Plainly coveted and stored carefully, with only occasional use, this time-warp Capri is one of the best on the market

Viewing is highly recommended and vehicles will be available for viewing at the venue on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd September between 10am and 5pm, and then from 9am on Saturday 24th ahead of the auction which begins at 11am.
