Classic Car Auctions says:

'Belfast Silver Bullet' ...    The DeLorean DMC-12 was a ground-breaking, innovative sports car manufactured by John DeLorean's 'DeLorean Motor Company' for the American market from 1981-83. The car was the work of Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design and featured gull-wing doors and an unusual, Lotus-engineered, fibreglass chassis and underbody structure, along with a brushed stainless steel body.

This 1981 example has just 4,388 miles indicated which we are unable to warrant, however, when our vendor bought the car, he carried out a detailed inspection and was satisfied that this was a genuine low mileage, manual gearbox, DMC. Prior to our sale, this car has benefitted from a programme of light recommissioning. These cars continue to gain momentum in the collector's car market on both sides of the Atlantic. Offered to auction with a fresh MOT, and NOVA documentation, this is an exceptional DeLorean and not to be missed.
