CCA August Classic Car Sale Sale Session

Our results will show all of our sold prices. Any lots that were unsold during the auction will have been returned to the vendor. Given the time since the sale we are no longer under contract with the client and it is unlikely that the car is still available, but please feel free to email the consignor who may have an alternative car in an upcoming sale.

Lot No. 501 - 1992 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9

Properly restored in 2013 with no expense spared...   Extensive bare metal restoration, including 100-hours in the paint shop. OE parts sourced in France  Dry stored since the 2013 restoration. Regularly serviced and less than 2,000 miles since Featured in the book, Peugeot 205 The Complete Story and Peugeot 205 GTI Haynes Manual Also featured in two magazines, included in the sale. This little Peugeot is a bit of a celebrity Remaining in lovely condition and with an MOT valid until July 2020  

Lot No. 502 - 1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SL Auto (R107)

This smart R107 may well be the bargain of the sale...   Downside: Small fluid leak from the brakes, engine running rough and no MOT Upside: Restored cosmetically in 2012 and still presents nicely with a good depth of shine  Blue/green metallic with black/beige chequered upholstery  Good history file containing invoices, previous MOTs and the V5c Unused in recent years and just needs a bit of TLC. Potentially great value at this guide £6,000 - £8,000 *Now No Reserve* Car has been previously gas converted

Very low ownership and only 47,000 miles covered from new...   Just 2,270 miles driven in the last 10 years. Desirable Phase 1.5 model Supplied with original sales invoice and dealer plates. Mostly dry-stored Recent full service including timing belt and water pump replacement A little work needed to bring back to its best. Supplied with a fresh MoT 205 GTis have been achieving stunning results at auction recently

Lot No. 506 - 1988 Jaguar XJ-S Convertible

This striking XJS is int superb condition, having been lovingly maintained at much recent expense. With only 57,580 miles, this Jaguar has a fantastic history file, described by the vendor as "amazing!". It even comes with its original tool-kit and factory workshop manual. Offered in an appropriately 80s colour combo of White with Cinamon, this car is "both stunning to look at and drive."
