Lot No. 818 - 1973 Triumph GT6 Mk3

Sold for: £9,435

An older restoration that would benefit from a little TLC to take it to the next level.
Details Specification Condition Report
  • The Mk3 benefitted from revised rear suspension completely transforming the handling
  • With better aerodynamics, the Mk3 offered 0-60 in 10.1 seconds and 112mph
  • This example is finished in BRG with Gold Minilites and a black interior
  • We understand that it was substantially restored in the 1990s
  • There is a box file of receipts and older MOTs and the Triumph is freshly MOT'd (11/11/2021)
  • The car would benefit from some time, a little paint and some detailing (nothing major)
  • The GT6 continues to grow in popularity and they don't come to auction very often
  • According to our vendor; "It’s a great drive and the overdrive works well. I think it’s a genuine honest car that can be improved upon for not a massive amount of cost."

Vehicle History

Remarks

According to the paperwork it was registered in February 1973 although probably manufactured in 1972. Box file of receipts and MOT. The only reason for selling is to make space for a Jensen otherwise I would have continued to use it. Can be used on a daily basis without any issues at all and still turns heads.
