Vehicle History

Remarks

The car has visited Works Service at Newport Pagnell for many services, and also remedial paintwork when a Skip truck scratched it along the driver's side whilst cornering badly it went pack to them for a month to have the paint work re-finished. This car is from a time when Aston would put on 7 coats of Basecoat, 2 coats of Colour and 5 coats of Lacquer. Mechanically its major services were all completed with Works Service. Major dates being: In 2005 additional items included rear radius bushes;2009 service of air conditioning system, new clutch slave cylinder, the driver's door window motor and ECU; 2011 had water ingress into the fuel supplied by a petrol station and in discussion with works service took the opportunity to give the car mechanics some major TLC cleaned and relined fuel tank, new fuel pumps valves and sensors, all new fuel pipes, remove cam cover clean mating surfaces new fuel rails, gaskets and spark plug seals. Clean and treat with anti-rust all radius arms and suspension components, exhaust clamps, new brake hubs, discs and pads new hoses, new engine drive belts, thermostat; and since then, the only other major item was sending the alternator back to be rebuilt in 2013 by works service. All MOTs have been completed without fault and the car has been easy to maintain and to have serviced a real classic from a company that was still hand building and finishing both the engines and bodies when it was manufactured.
