  • 1998 JDM GSR sourced especially for development in the UK 
  • Previous owner spec’d a fully forged 2.3-litre 'stroker' engine in late 2012/13 eith photos of engine build and invoices etc.
  • Initially envisaged as a ‘project build’ so never used in anger by the builder or the then-owner
  • Specialists 'Evotune' of Durham developed the engine to 580bhp 
  • Our vendor continued the car’s association with Evotune, having a major turbo cooling overhaul in February 2019; remapped to 622bhp (dyno-sheet attached), giving 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds
  • So well-known by Jamie at Evotune he has had free reign to do whatever needed attention - see Condition Report for full specification
  • Our vendor is the first owner to compete in the car - primarily four seasons at Harewood Hill Climb, so not had a hard life (i.e. no circuits etc.)
  • The car's shell is in superb condition, rust-free, always air-chamber stored; new fuel pump last week
  • MOT’d until January and road legal, so can be driven to events; the lower settings on Blitz controller (approx. 440bhp) makes this quite comfortable ​​​​
