Sold for: £5,772
In recent years this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. Your inspection pre-sale is welcomed and encouraged to appreciate the potential of this rarely offered motor car which is strictly sold as seen.

"This rare, late Silver Shadow with electric division was initially sold for export to Singapore having been built to right-hand drive, UK market specification (initially with 'km/h' speedometer) for its first owner, Mr Hendra Rahardja, of Cornwall Gardens, London SW7. At the time of registration in 1977 it cost almost as much as two standard Silver Shadow saloons. Since its return to the UK circa 2003, the car has been subject to a comprehensive restoration and maintenance program, costing over £30,000, carried out by recognised marque specialists such as Royce Service & Engineering in Surrey and Royce Motor Services in Gloucestershire (see receipts on file). This work has included an engine rebuild; hydraulic system overhaul; refurbishment of the coachwork, structural parts, floor pan, etc; installing a new air conditioning system; and fitting new springs, shock absorbers and a Harvey Bailey handling kit. In addition, all the interior woodwork was refinished to a high standard and the piped leather interior professionally re-Connollised, while a modern Alpine in-car entertainment system has been installed in both front and rear compartments. Serviced less than a year/1,500 miles ago by CD Carriage, 'PHU 734R' represents a rare opportunity to acquire a well maintained, low mileage (48,000) example of one of the most exclusive Silver Shadow derivatives. The car is offered with current road fund licence, MoT to October 2010"
