Vehicle History

Remarks

No history before 1991, since then the car has undergone total restoration. I originally bought the Galaxie from a contact in Atlanta Georgia whilst we were on holiday there and had it shipped to the UK I have pictures taken at the time of purchase, after collection from Southampton docks I had it transported home and started the restoration work, I ran my own heating company so didn’t have a lot of time to spend on the car it was a gradual process over 25 years I have receipts for around £20,000 and probably spent another £5000 on top of that! The car was originally a base model which I upgraded to an XL specification but I did retain original fittings which will go with the car if someone wanted to return it back base. I have fully restored this car over the past 25 years, all mechanical parts have either been replaced reconditioned, or upgraded, It is not the original engine although it is a 390 which was originally fitted to the car it has a C6 Automatic gearbox, Edelbrock intake manifold with a four barrel Holly carburettor,Electronic ignition, new fuse box I have Installed Servo assisted dual line disc brakes on the front and upgraded the rear brakes, The convertible top and cylinders have been replaced a new Interior has been installed.
