Extensively restored CS with really desirable upgrades...   Acquired by our vendor eight years ago and subject to a full nut and bolt restoration (2012 - 2016) Shell acid dipped, seam-welded, lead-loaded, zinc coated and cavities Waxoyled Rotisserie painted, inside and out in its original colour of Inka Orange Steering, suspension and braking components replaced or refurbished and powder coated Fitted with later M30B35 (3.5-litre 635CSi) injection engine mated to a 5-speed manual box The car has been fitted with an original BMW 'sideloader limited slip differential' to allow the extra power to be enjoyed Black leather front Recaro seats from an M635i. Professionally retrimmed. New carpets Period-correct Alpina wheels and a period radio with aux lead conversion  Fabulous, modernised E9 CS that's a lot quicker and a touch more comfortable

BMW AG certified that car was delivered to BMW Concessionaires on 22 Dec 1972, but was first registered in the UK in March 1974 (Inka Orange). Polaris Silver with a black vinyl roof when I acquired it.  Invoices outlining the restoration are present.
