Vehicle History

Remarks

When it was just 8 years old with 58791 miles on the clock the Capri was parked up with its last tax disc expiring 31st December 1992 (old tax discs including this last one are included in the paperwork). To back the miles up are some old MOT paperwork from 30/12/1989 with the mileage recorded at 45946 miles (at this point the car was 5 years old). Having just 7 previous keepers from new (very low for a 33-year-old vehicle)

The original and rare ford factory build sheet is with the car being found under the carpet during the restoration strip down, it shows the Capri to have been commissioned onto the assembly line on 11th September 1984 (at 17:06 hours), the specification on the build card is correct for the vehicle as it stands today and includes the last part of the chassis number (proving it is for this vehicle):

A plethora of receipts from the restoration and old MOT paperwork verifying the mileage in 1989.
