Offered for sale is a 1.5L 1972 Hillman Avenger Tiger Series 1 manual that has been with the current owner for the last year. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 98 / 135.

Bodywork restored in 2009. The underside of the shell has had 3 litres of paint to match the outer shell (i.e. Sundance Yellow). Front bumpers re-chromed. Top spot lamps powder coated.

The front seats have been fully restored with leather at a cost of £1,000.00. New headlining and carpets in around 2009 and car has done less than 1,000 miles since. Rev counter (extremely rare) not fitted but available with the car for fitting.

Since I have owned it I have replaced all the bushes, back suspension, brake pads, and had a lot of powder coating done e.g. Anti-roll bar, trailing arm, top arms, brake reaction bars etc. New Brake reaction bars top and bottom axle arms and poly bushes throughout 2017. New back suspension (Bilstein) fitted 2017. New battery fitted 2017. A large amount of powder coating to the anti-roll bar, brake reaction bars etc. 2017. New drop link arms fitted plus bushes 2017.

The car came second at the National Owners Club Meeting in July this year and has covered 253,289 miles and is one of the best documented Series 1 Tigers left. Only 5 owners, original bill of sale included in the extensive history file, every MOT and Tax Disc.
