1988 Lancia Thema 8.32 Ferrari V8 engine

Lot: 788

Sold for (£): Unsold
Offered for sale is a 3.0L 1988 Lancia Thema 8.32 manual. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 81 / 135.

Classic Car Auctions says:

The Thema 8.32 was possibly the most flamboyant past master in Lancia's offerings from the late eighties.

Powered by a Ducati assembled, Ferrari V8 from the Mondial, the 8.32 was wonderfully different and just plain bonkers. A somewhat square, medium-sized, four-door luxury saloon stuffed with a howling, 215 bhp V8 was probably the ultimate 'Wolf in Sheep's clothing'. With 0-60 in 6.9 seconds, it was edging into M5 and Lotus Carlton territory.

These are rare cars with only ten originally imported into the UK and this left-hand drive, 1988, 8.32 is finished in metallic charcoal with deep brown leather trim. It has had just two registered owners, the first being the Lancia importer Lancar Ltd and our vendor has owned the car since 1993. The history file contains numerous invoices confirming its detailed maintenance since purchase, up to the current mileage of 133,590 miles. The car is described by the vendor as being in generally good condition all round.

A quick, comfortable, and interesting super saloon with a bit of a cult following, you are unlikely to see many others..
