Only 300 miles since a comprehensive restoration in 2017...

  • The car spent most of its early life in Holland returning to the UK in 2016
  • Rebuilt by its 2nd owner in Holland and converted from a Coupé into a Spyder
  • Certificate from Andy Graham of Lotus to confirm the car is a genuine Sprint from 1971
  • Fitted with a new chassis and the original running gear restored by Paul Matty in 2017
  • Engine modified to big-valve standard (machining, inserts, valves and springs) by Spydercars
  • Chassis and bodyshell put together, mostly new interior fitted, engine refitted and the rest of the car finished by Spydercars

The car has only done 200 miles since the restoration, so no wear. Engine still running in. New hood.

Existing block, pistons re-ringed as no need for a rebore. New alternator oil and fuel pump, cylinder head re-machined with new valves, guides and seats. Stainless exhaust.
