Vehicle History

The car was purchased for $15,250 and imported from the USA in August 2013 at a cost of $4400. All taxes paid and VAT receipts enclosed at a cost of £3500. It went to South West Lotus Centre where it went through a very thorough check and converted to European spec, the bumpers, lights and emission. The engine was taken out after the conversion was found to be in excellent condition and needed simple tuning. A new clutch and all belts replaced. When painting the new bumpers other areas were also painted to give the car a perfect look. Esprit Turbo decals were added to complete the authentic look. At a cost of £12,500.

The car was SORN while being restored which took several years but has benefitted from work done by Lotus Esprit specialist South West Lotus.
