Vendor Condition Report

Overall: 89 / 135

Bodywork: Glass:
Paint: Chrome:

Remarkably rust free following an extended lay-up, just minor scratches & marks as expected for an older unrestored car.

Door-cards: Carpets:
Seating: Headlining:
Dashboard: Boot:

Highly original and in excellent used condition throughout, requiring no immediate attention.

Components: Starting:
Appearance: Running:

The engine itself is in excellent sound order, would benefit from minor fettling to improve cold starting but otherwise recently serviced and ready to use.

Gears: Drive-shaft:

The auto box works perfectly in all gears, typical bullet-proof Mercedes.

Running Gear

Axles: Chassis:
Suspension: Bearings:
Brakes: Wheels/Tyres:

Running and driving well with brakes all free and pulling up straight with good feel. Currently displaying an ABS light and we are advised there is slight noise from the diff but neither of these has prevented the car from being used and driven by the vendor across the summer.

Minor: Major:

No known issues electrically, all highly original including the audio unit.

Vehicle History

The complete original book pack includes fully stamped service history to 73k miles, the vehicle being semi-retired thereafter and laid up in 2001. A further service was carried out in May 2018 when the car was recommissioned for the road. Old MOT certificates to 2001/2 confirm the mileage as genuine making this an outstanding 3 owner "survivor" car.
