Classic Car Auctions says:

A charming 1961 MGA Coupé with lovely patina which has benefited from recent refurbishment...

This UK supplied, right-hand drive car was first registered in January 1961 and has a certain honest charm and a lovely fifties feel to it. Showing 98,741 miles the car is presented to auction with an MoT certificate valid until February 2017 and has very recently been refreshed with new bright work and four new wire wheels.  The interior has been re-carpeted throughout and a new steering wheel and boss and a new gear knob have also been fitted. Originally a 1600, at some point this car has been fitted with an MGB 1800cc engine and although this renders the car 'non-standard', it does mean that it goes well and is more comfortable in modern traffic.

Sensibly guided, this classic British sports car represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a model that continues to gain momentum in the collectors market.
