Vehicle History

The first owner was Babcock & Wilson Great Dover St London. The second owner , Mr Harold Kenney an elderly gentleman kept the Rover until 1984 when it was then sold to Mr Ackroyd at the then logged mileage of 46,510. Mr Ackroyd used the Rover sparingly as a second car in mainly dry weather until 1990 when the Rover was mothballed in Mr Ackroyd's heated garage. Advancing years prompted the difficult decision to pass the car to his nephew in 2011 who kept the Rover briefly until it was purchased by the vendor who has kept the Rover stored in a dehumidified garage. A thorough programme of recommissioning has recently been carried out before returning to the road once again ( details within the history file) Service history as follows: Appleyard Gibbon ( main agent) PDI at 76 miles. Serviced then by Fred Dinsdale Ltd ( Rover main agent for Stockton on Tees) at the following mileages: 1252, 3518, 5392, 12251, 15315, 18898, 24207, 29296. The next services were carried out by Don Robson & Co Stockton at mileages of 34902 , 45412. There are 3 sets of keys
