Vendor Condition Report

Overall: 84 / 135

Bodywork: Glass:
Paint: Chrome:

Bodywork restored in 2016 - front panel, step, rear wheel arches, outer seals, rear corners, battery tray, replaced the engine lid, some welding to inner panels, rust treatment and repair to corrosion around windows. Bodywork taken to bare metal and resprayed, all rotten sections (see above) replaced with new metal. Near-side sliding door is original and has been patched and rust treated (mechanic was unable to source replacement door as they are quite rare on a RHD vehicle). Headlight surrounds, wing mirrors, hub caps and door locks all good condition chrome. Locks working smoothly. All glass in good condition - no chips, cracks or scrapes. Vehicle has been garage-stored since restoration and paint is good bar a couple of patches.

Door-cards: Carpets:
Seating: Headlining:
Dashboard: Boot:

Interior seating is neat and tidy with red leather-look upholstery in good condition. Floor replaced during current ownership. Carpets in front cabin in good condition. Non-original accelerator pedal and gear stick currently fitted, however original gear stick in owner's possession and available to re-install. Side panels also in leather-look fabric and all in ok condition bar one small tear where the rock & roll bed mechanism caught in the side panel upholstery, and a few scuffs/marks from general wear and tear. Campervan ‘Kitchen' area all solidly built (non-original) with gas cooker, grill and sink. Foot pump for connecting water bottles to tap in sink is not currently linked.

Components: Starting:
Appearance: Running:

Engine in very good working order and very reliable. No breakdowns during current ownership period of 5 years. Flame thrower ignition installed has helped with fuel consumption. General appearance is very good with minimal corrosion.

Gears: Drive-shaft:

Gear box is original to the current owner's knowledge. Clutch has plenty of bite and is not stiff to compress.

Running Gear

Axles: Chassis:
Suspension: Bearings:
Brakes: Wheels/Tyres:

These were all inspected at last service and found to be in good working order, however a full service will be conducted prior to auction. Ruby is at her original OEM height and has not been lowered. Chassis very solid and few signs of corrosion. Suspension creaks a little when going over very large speed bumps.

Minor: Major:

Horn has been moved to a button on the dashboard at some point in previous history (not current owner) however this would be easy to rectify back to the steering wheel. New starter motor, alternator and battery fitted over the last few years. Stereo (non-original) currently doesn't work and needs a new head unit, however when connected, the speakers under the back bench seat and in the doors all work well. Lights, both interior and exterior, are in good working order and horn works. The 12v and 240v inverter all function as they should. Leisure battery has not been tested recently.

Vehicle History

Service file comprehensive in the most part - all recent MOT certificates available. Some previous documentation on work that has been undertaken too.
